Snapshots run on their own. Use "Save & close" when you want a clean window: the tabs go into a list with no limit on how many you keep.
Restore what you need
Open the side panel (Alt+Shift+T), pick a moment in time, restore a tab, a window or everything. Big windows restore without loading every tab at once, so the browser doesn't choke.

- Pro is a lifetime license: every Pro feature, including future ones, for as long as Tabcase is sold. If it's ever discontinued, the installed version keeps working offline, and your backup file is plain JSON you can read anywhere.

FAQ
Questions
Does it send my tabs anywhere?
No. Tab titles and URLs stay in your browser's storage and in the backup file on your disk. There is no account, no sync server and no analytics. If you buy Pro, the extension checks your license key against our license server once a week; that request carries only the key.
Why does it ask to "read your browsing history"?
That is Chrome's wording for the "tabs" permission, which is how Tabcase sees the titles and addresses of your open tabs to save them. It does not read your history list, and nothing leaves your computer.
Chrome already has saved tab groups. Why do I need this?
Saved tab groups are a bookmark of what you chose to save. Tabcase is a history of everything that was open, taken automatically, with a backup file on disk and restore of a single tab, a window or everything. The two work fine together.
Where does the backup file go?
To a Tabcase folder inside your Downloads folder, as JSON, one file per day. You can point your own cloud drive at it if you want it synced.
Why only Chrome?
Because that's where the problem is biggest and where we can do one thing well. Other browsers aren't planned.
Does it use AI?
No. No AI, no API keys, no calls to anyone's servers.
Do I need an account?
No. Install it and use it. If you buy Pro, you paste a license key once; no login, ever.
